MPAC Peer Warmline is a volunteer peer-led Warmline to support the peer workforce.
Unlike a crisis line, the Peer Warmline offers one-on-one confidential peer support for peers actively working or volunteering to receive support.
Peers working the line are trained in a array of trainings to include
Recovery Coaching, Intentional Peer Support (IPS), Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP), Mental Health First Aid,
National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI),
Trauma Informed Care, Ethical Responsibility in additional to other specialized trainings.
Peers provide non-crisis assistance and support over the phone 4 hours per day.
Under the supervision of a Registered Peer Supervisor
In event of an emergency, callers are encouraged and supported to seek appropriate professional help.
In event of a medical emergencies to include mental health occurences callers are supported by peers to call the crisis line or dial 911.
