MPAC 2021-2026 Advocacy Priorities
 

MPAC will advocate, organize and build capacity for inclusive policies related to  recovery support services & social justice to include but not limited to: 

  • Increase access to recovery, mental and behavioral support services 

  • Wage equality for Peer Workforce 

  • Bridge the gap for the digital divide 

  • Funding for Peers in Recovery Residences 

  • Increase access to funding for recovery community-based organizations

  • Medicaid Billable Services for Peers

  • Increase access to crisis services for individuals in and or seeking recovery 

  • Increase access for Youth, Youth Adult & Family Recovery Support Services 

  • Overdose Prevention, Harm Reduction, and Narcan Access 

  • Decriminalization & Reentry Services 

  • Racial Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion  

  • Organizational & ProfessionalTraining Development for Peers
