MPAC Peer Warmline

MPAC Peer Warmline
is a volunteer peer-led Warmline to support the peer workforce.

Unlike a crisis line, the Peer Warmline offers one-on-one confidential peer support for peers actively working or volunteering to receive support.

 

Peers working the line are trained in a array of trainings to include:

  • Recovery Coaching, Intentional Peer Support (IPS)

  • Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP)

  • Mental Health First Aid

  • National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI),

  • Trauma Informed Care, Ethical Responsibility in additional to other specialized trainings.

 

Peers provide non-crisis assistance and support over the phone 4 hours per day. 

Under the supervision of a Registered Peer Supervisor 

In event of an emergency, callers are encouraged and supported to seek appropriate professional help.

 

In event of a medical emergencies to include mental health occurences callers are  supported by peers to call the crisis line or dial 911.
